It's september 2007 and The Filthy Rotten Sex Machine are ready to come play in your town. We just played a great show this past weekend on the 8th of sept in DC. It was a blast to finally see RUSTBUCKiT, those guys are F'in crazy. As usual Adam West was Rockin all night long.

We have a show coming up in October ( after I get back from vacation to Seattle WA ) at the Lo-Fi Social Club, with whom we don't know. It will soon be time for us to hit the studio and bring you our very first Filthy CD. I think we are gonna record a double album ( well we have enough songs to do so ) as our first release. Hope we can get it out before the new year.

So the Filthy Rotten Sex Machine have done a couple shows so far since we started a few months back. We sgould have more shows under our new shiney spiked belt but our bass player lives out of town and we don't practice very often and he doesn't have the ability to just come here and do shows whenever. We do however have a show at The Ottobar here in Baltimore, MD on thursday august 30th with Hidden Hand...we then have another show just a week later on saturday september 8th in DC at The Red and The Black bar with My Life On Hold, RUSTBUCKiT and the amazing Adam West. Well it's been a few months of working some of the querks of starting a new band with guys that either can't get together the same days for practice or sometimes they call out because they are to Fucked up from the night befores partying. Things are now starting to come along so we should start playing out by mid to late march if all goes well. O' by the way incase you didn't know this is no longer the Polyplush Cats info SG page it is going to be the new page where you get you Filthy Rotten Sex Machine news. It appears that we have all the players for now, but may be looking for a rythm guitarist in a couple months to fill the sound out a little more.

Well fuck...just to let the few of you on here know " The Polyplush Cats have broken up " ...yes after 11 painful years we are calling it quits. We had a huge fight the last night of our latest tour which was in june and it was the end of things to be. I will soon be making this the page for the music projects that I will be doing in the near future. 1st one is I am getting the band I was in a year ago back together...yes you heard it here the Filthy Rotten Sex Machine is reforming with a couple new members. We are now looking for a drummer in the Baltimore MD area to round out this Sleazy, Raunchy Rock n' Roll project.

This just in... We are going to be pushing our tour back till June. You can now check out our new website at Polyplush Cats .This site will be update much more often considering it is a template that I can work with and I just got the internet at my house. YAY...

It's that time of the year again peeps... Time we start booking our next spring tour. We will be heading out in May just for that one month. If any of you have any ideas on where we should play we are going to be on the east coast and as far west as MN, IA, MO, AR, KS, OK and LA and as from FL to PA on the coast. We are always looking for new shitty bars to Rock so give us a shout if you want to see us in your town and if you feel like booking a show for us. We are also currently rebuilding our we site. It is going to be much more simple and striped down but it will still look cool. We just need to be able to update it on a regular basis and until now that wasn't possible. None of us here at the band have any web building abbility but a site I found the other week called bandzoogle seems to be a site for bands that ( like myself ) need help and it appears to be a sort of cut and paste ability plus much much more if we can learn it.

Well heres a lil' quick update . Been hanging with my amazing girlfriend Jocelyn . She came to visit in Baltimore and we had the family all meet for dinner that we cooked . We went to ocean city md for the day and saw Amos Lee play twice at The Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis MD .Know I am in columbus ohio where she lives ( until she moves to San Francisco early next year ) for a couple more days . Been here since the 6th of oct. We just went to cleveland to see Zeke and Nashville Pussy at Peabodys Down Under ... fucking Rock n Roll show people . Go check em' out if you can . Been friends and a fan of Nashville Pussy for like 7 years or something and Zeke is the shit . I am flying to L.A. to work on film called Sip The Pleasure Of Days ... Look for it next year sometime . Then I fly from L.A. back to Columbus Ohio to meet my band for a few week tour in nov. First show is at the Ravari Room in Columbus with or friends A Planet For Texas . Look for us at a shitty club in a town near you .

This is a heartbreaking week for sure. Not necessarily with my life but with the many many amazing friends I and the rest of my band have in New Orleans. I have been able to speak with most but not all of them because of the cell phone complications. Some have driven to Memphis to be with friends and others stayed and I believe are without power. I am hoping to be able to travel down to new orleans to help any friends ( they are actualy like my family ) with clean up that I can in the next few weeks. I will just have to take off sometime @ work but they will need the help.

In other news a girl that I have known for what seems like atleast 7yrs but has only actually been 3yrs has become a big part of my life and is making me happy, happy, happy. She lives in Columbus Ohio but we have been able to see each other every 2 weeks for the last month and a half. She will be visiting me early Oct. and that will be awesome. We are planning on going to the Amos Lee show here in MD at the Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis... when then damn tickets finally go onsale today.
It is an intamate place that has about 50 tables ( 4 to 6 seats each ) and a small stage. We are going with my parents for dinner and a show. It does look like she is moving to San Fransisco in the next year and that will make our travels much further. She is da bomb and we are connecting on many ways... everyday seems like we connect on something different than the last. That being said I guess it looks like we will be spending alot of time on airplanes in next years to come.

It's now that the Polyplush Cats begin to work on the next leg of our 10 years in the making " A true life story of Sex, Drugs and Rock n' Roll " tour ... looks like we are only going out for a few weeks in nov so no west coast shows this time. Well it's time for me to work on the new BIO and show dates so I am out like ( you fill in the blank ) _______________________.
