well.....today is my birthday. i'm a whole whopping 28 years old. feels like last year, although i'm kinda just spending today watching all of season one of Game of Thrones alone in my apartment. in some small sense its kinda nice. on the other hand, i'm starting to feel like i have no more youth in me anymore, and that sucks. are there any ladies lined up at my door tonight? nope. its gonna be a delivery pizza and Sam Adams kind of night. i have duty tomorrow. it actually snowed a little bit out here in Virginia Beach. i did, however, get some new ink last night. i took the pics on my phone so i should be able to upload them here shortly without the same problems i had with my new camera. badass camera technology is awesome until you try to upload shit with a size limit! anyway, i'm sleeving out my right arm with some more Japanese artwork. last night was 3 hours worth of linework, with more to come on Feb 9th. we deploy about a week and a half later, for another 6 fucking months. i guess i signed up for this, but how is it that some ships have been deployed 5 times in their 40 years of being built, and my ship has deployed 5 times in the last 6 years? that's right, because life sucks, and then you die anyway, back to tv. i'll be uploading those pics! later y'all

well, turns out we got to come home a little bit early. we pulled back into norfolk yesterday, and i got smashed last night and am currently hanging out in my hotel room. it was so nice to sleep in a real bed, and eat real food, and take a shower without worrying what was growing on the bathroom floor! we went to spain, greece, and then the normal middle eastern ports of bahrain and dubai. pics to come later. i tried to take a lot, although in dubai all we did was drink our faces off. turns out there's not much to do in the middle east, and its just hot and miserable. anyway, we're only back in the US for about 2 months before we go back out for another 5-6 months, so this is a very short lived "vacation" you could say, but its nice to be home for christmas. i'm glad to see most of my friends are still on here. thanks for staying! sorry i can't update while i'm deployed, but they have this site blocked on the computers. dumb. oh well, y'all fill me in on what's been going on in the last 6 months! i feel like i've missed so much.

well guys, there's a 10 month long deployment looming in my future, and i have to admit: i'm gettin pretty fuckin depressed about it. the ladyfriend broke up with me because she can't handle the distance, which i guess i can't blame her but fuck i forgot how much a breaking heart sucks. i just can't wait to get out. nov 2015 i'll be joining the civilian fleet. i've sacrificed too much for this bullshit and haven't gotten enough out of it. i'm gonna miss you guys. i'm gonna miss good food, good coffee, my own bed, my own apartment, privacy, internet, boobs...or just attractive girls in general. this blows. in some ways i'm glad i made the decision to join, but fuck i can't wait til its over. anyway, enough bitching. it's not gonna make anything better. y'all have fun. i'll see you on the other side.

had the Christmas party last night, dressed up all snazzy and hung out with all the cool kids from RT, and unfortunately i haven't been this hungover is a looooooooooooong time. i've literally sat my ass on my giant bean bag and done nothing all day. played the fuck outta some Skyrim, made mac 'n cheese, and converted oxygen to carbon dioxide. i can't wait for dec 29 to get here so i can go on leave. i'm plannin to head to ny to see the girlfriend and then back to georgia to see the family. i just want a break from work. nuclear navy sucks, 1429 days left. hope everybody is having a great time over the holidays no matter what you celebrate!

I'm back from deployment and living in my new place in Norfolk, Va. It's Halloween y'all, let's see some sexy costumes! I haven't seen a beautiful naked girl in weeks!
