It appears that a mystery person has re-opened my account as a gift I suppose. To that person out there whoever you are, I say that you very much! It brings back memories the way reading old journal entries and looking at old photographs can. Well, I suppose a lot has happened in the last 2 and a half years or so since we've talked: Moving to Oakland, the birth of my best friends baby, the death of my mother, engagement to my longtime girlfriend, and ordination as a Buddhist monk. Many more things are in the planning stage at the moment, and I feel like things are moving along very quickly; sometimes too quickly. Today however, they aren't moving at all, or at least I'm trying hard not to be moved by them on this rainy Sunday.

I'd love to see you all, my old friends again sometime, and I really hope that you all are doing so so well.

holy shit dude, it's been a long time since i've posted anything. let's see.... the two months at the buddhist monastary was nothing short of amazing and completely necessary. life there is completely on a schedule and everything there supports one's practice. i was very sad to leave. but now i'm back in the real real big world and i'm still on the monk schedule (that means getting up at 4:30am). i still don't have a full time j.o.b. but i'm making a little $$$ on the side fixing a '65 chevy truck. i MUST clean my room today. i have to wade in a sea of possessions about a foot thick. all this shit has to go. (actually it is already gone in my mind, all i have to do is have a bit of follow through.) i lead a pretty easy life these days, i'm getting better at seeing all the trappings this modern world has to offer, and not getting caught up in them.

funerals, births, and birthdays i have witnessed since the last time i've talked will y'all. there have been alot of intence moments where my life could have turned on a dime, and i have a deep sense of "who knows". i think i have a better sense of how rare and precious this life is wiith all these gifts i've been given, and all the important friends i've made. i think i have a deeper sense of living not just for myself but for the sake of all beings.

anyway, yea, i've really got to clean this fucking pigpen up, so i gotta go. please take good care everyone.

so, my computer took a shit so now my access to the internet is fleeting. dosen't matter anyway people, i am leaving in a couple of hours and i just wanted to say goodbye. i'll be back in august. i hope everyone has a wonderful summer. i'll come back with some pictures.

allright, so, things are rollin' here. i gave notice at my j.o.b. today. no more forms. no more scooters. i'm kinda done with that. at least for the moment. going to zenshin-ji for a couple of months to be a full time zen student/worker bee. i've been doin' the scooter mechanic thing for about 6 years i think. jesus christ that's a long time. i have no leads in sight as of yet for a positive cash flow, but i know that i will be taken care of. everyone somehow gets what they deserve weather they deserve it or not. know what i'm sayin'?

also, i'm going to nevada in a few weeks to help resurrect this beast. oh yes, it will breath fire once again.

sleepy tired. 4 hours of sleep is never enough. i'll maybe try to catch a nap a bit later. i went to a party last night and i came to the decision that i really really really like girls. yea, girls are nice. my girl is currently in india visiting family. i renewed my bodhisattva vows this morning at the temple at the full moon ceremony. yea, i think that came just in time.

in other news, i think i should have my motorcycle done in about a month or so. i have to source some more parts. but the motor is almost done. i've got about a grand in it. thanks again papawheelie! i love you dude.
