This is the last journal entry I will be writing. [appropriate Emily face]

Why my last journal? Well, I haven't been ignoring anyone and I haven't stopped loving you, but I just have been spending very little time here, which is contrary to almost the whole first 2 years I have been here. I have been making an effort to go out more, read more, get more fresh air, quilt more, and be more socially active.

I hope so. Well, Emily Love (yes, I know I gave my daughter a hippie name
) and I have a ritual every morning. As we are about to leave, we go to the mirror next to the front door and I ask us the age old question of questions, "Are we cute enough to go out?"[vain but silly people]

Em says, "Yes!" and I say, "Great, then let's go and start our day!" Then we hug and make silly faces and leave. [gratuitous ridiculousness]

oh my god, I find that in a way sad, but also totally happy.
strange dichotomy to be losing a person to.
then again, no... sometimes losing friends to something that is right for them makes you happy anyways, even when it means that you yourself my not have them in your lives anymore.
I liked reading your journals. I've been hangin around here (in your journal) for about a year and I'm happy for you!!
Best of everything, and I will still be requesting christmas cards.
