Phew, lots has happened, and nothing has happened.
Last Thursday both SouthernBelle and Flux came into town. SB only stayed until Friday afternoon, but she'll be coming back next week, I believe.
Flux stayed through Sunday morning. It was so good to see her, and so painful to see her go again. That girl holds a chunk of my heart and takes it with her when she goes. But we ate at some fabulous places, talked lots, played Agricola (I even won once!!). Friday night we had several people get together so they could hang with her and get some lovin too.
Sunday night we saw Paul and Heather, who we haven't seen in forever. Ate some really great food, hung out and played Creationary.
This week has the feeling of being on hold, waiting for something to happen. Not much has, but it keeps feeling that way. Finally finished all seven seasons of DS9. Loved that show. Tomorrow I go in to talk with my career therapist. I'm ambivilent about that. Friday night is Game Night!! THAT I'm looking forward to.
Still have not heard from Juliet, even after we paid her rent and let the rental office know we were not renewing her lease. And after K_Rex told her she had three headhunters who would like to talk with her about a job. You'd think someone who was unemployed and out of money would perk up for that one at least. Oh well, two more months and we can call an end to that bad decision, and that friendship.
Well, that's all I have. I'll be puttering about the house for the next couple of days, trying to fill the time up. What are you up to the rest of the week? Any great weekend plans?
