Skiing up in Maine today, wonderful stuff.

Everyone has their release, the one thing that centers them. I know it sounds odd, but when you watch a musician shred out or an artist at work you can see their focus and see how 'at home' they are. The whole idea has always interested be, cause you look at these artists go at it and wonder "they got that, what the hell do I do?"

Other than that, went to see a little show at a bar, an act called Twiddle, a decent jam band that rocked out for awhile, got some Led Zep in their line-up. Hey, it might not be hardcore but it was chill.

Thought I'd toss up some shots from my day on the slopes. Comment or critiques?

Thanks for comments, won't lie, I was (pleasantly) surprised by them smile

Just thought I'd ask, "why is it so much fun gauging, piercing and getting inked?"

I've been wondering for awhile, but today it was on my mind a lot. I'm taking my finals right now so I'm under a lot of stress, and to let a bit off I went out and got some plugs, and I gauged my ears up a size (they're only 6's frown). Afterward, I felt relaxed and pretty cheery! I've always wondered why that is, and why it seems so much fun to just think about what I'd get pierced and what tattoos I'd want. Any thoughts?

Note: Ideally I'd probably gauge my ears to a 2 or 0, and also get an industrial along with get my eyebrow pierced, but none are really possible. Given that I'm in school to become a teacher, and that the whole market for teaching jobs isn't in my favor, all good recommendations are needed, and therefore looking "professional" surreal is important. That's the way it is, sucks as it does.

Hello world!
Well, I suppose I'll begin with a sentence about myself, then get to the heart of the matter.
I'm a college student in Boston, MA, I'm studying to become a teacher, I have a girlfriend I've been with for quite a long time, and I've got love and hardcore pumping through my veins.

Now to my little rant.
I've been dating a wonderful, amazing woman for over a year and a half, and she means the world to me. I want to spend my life with her. I know I'm young and have a couple years of studies left before graduation, but I feel as though this is right. My grandparents married at 20, stayed together their entire lives. My parents married at 21, same story. I won't be proposing to anyone soon, but it is a thought that has been bouncing about in my head for some time now, and I have to let it out somewhere.
To anyone reading, thanks! If no one reads this it's all the same to me, but if anyone reading understands how I feel it makes my emotions stronger as I know I'm not alone.
I love you all,
scdbiggrin
