Is it sad that I can make the "neighborhood howler" dog quite at 4 in the morning with treats and attention more so than the owner? That poor bastard, the most beautiful American Bulldog and he's just a decoration for the backyard. How do I fix that?!

I lived next door to someone who had the most lovable German Shep, but they kept it tied up to a fucking TREE all the time..hewas missing lots of fur and not being fed enough...I was about 10 or so at this time. One day I looked in the phone book and contacted pet control while the neighbors were at work, jumped the fence and let the dog out...took of his collar and told pet control he was a stray. They took him in to find him a new owner. Then I thought I was doing the right thing, but I'm not sure if I did or not. At least I know he was getting food and not outside in the rain, ya know? So you can definitely call Pet Control in your area.

The "pet control" here is really lackadaisical. If i called animal control, they'd take him and euthanize him. I have, how ever, thought about asking friend's of mine and see if they want a glorious dog. I do think, moving him into another state would be the better option than leaving him to animal control.
