today i am performing a ritual known as "fixing my sleep schedule". after the last several weeks of waking up at 4pm every morning, i am taking action. if, by staying awake all night and all the next day, i can keep my eyes open long enough, i can fall asleep at a reasonable time. say 11pm.

so now i'm awake. still awake. since 4am, i've done nothing but watch episodes of sex and the city, and shop. now there is nothing to do. i am hoping that if i stare at the internet for a while longer, my eyeballs will dry out and i'll have no interest in closing them.

this entry is completely fluff, but that's fine. i'm typing to stay awake.

also, go see this:

You don't know how much times I've done that. It used to be like every month or so I'd try to fix my schedual. Now I have classes to go to, so I don't really have the option anymore.

Late night is just too tempting to stay up till and I hate having to end my days. But I always prefer to wake up early, I get more accomplished that way (everythings open).

Okay man, this is gonna sound kinda crazy, but I read it somewhere, so it might be worth trying. How you can reset your body clock is as follows:

Shine bright lights, like from a lamp or something, directly on the backs of your knees. Do this for about 2 to 4 hours.

That's it. And no, I swear to Lao-Tzu I am not making this up.

Oh, and by the way, I've put you on my friend list. So there!

a ritual i know all too well. it's a ritual that's starting to really wear me out and now i'm trying to fix myself. a few days ago i got wired up with eeg sensors, muscle sensors, breath sensors, and a blood oxygen sensor before going to sleep. ironically i had one of my best nights of sleep in weeks, so now i'm afraid they won't detect my problems, whatever they are.
