how i miss being on this site alot, havent been able to lately much as more health problems, next week my 4th surgery in 4 years, 2 on left ankle, 1 on back, and now right ankle time, people werent kidding when saying it goes downhill when you get older, i loved playing sports throughout my youth and college but seem to be paying for it now, but on bright side once the first few days after surgery i should be here alot with nothing but time from being laid up and off work for a bit

wow, have not been on SG in ages, i have missed this place but unfortunately back issues have kept me away, have had 4 cortisone shots in a month and still no relief, seems like i am headed toward a second back surgery, i guess moral of the story don't let your kids play football it hurts later on in life

sitting back after work and dinner and rocking out to old school skid row, brings me back to a much simpler and happier time when me and the boys would pre game to great music and then go out and have a blast, now its work, family commitments take precedence over most things, dont ever wish your youth away, you will want it back

so it seems like i am going to have body issues the rest of my life, after 2 ankle surgeries the last 2 years, the ankle still bothers me till where i have to wear a brace, thats the left side, now my right hip is killing me to where it takes me about an hour to get comfortable in bed and fall asleep, not sure if it is from always being a big guy and playing football for 17 years and lifting alot of weights back in the day, but it is starting to suck not being able to do hardly anything fun, sorry for the rant, but these painkillers are making my belly ache and head spin

how i love the fact that it is almost fall and summer will be over before we know it, i will not miss you 90 degree days almost every day, now we got football, hockey is getting going shortly, sons of anarchy is back and i am in an all around better mood now, good times

wildest thing happened to me over the weekend, i will start by saying i had a couple of bouncing jobs in college and there would once in a while be a chick fight but usually between 2 drunk girls who are barely hitting each other so it was simple to break up and just have them removed

well this weekend, i had to break up a fight between 2 early 40ish women and it was hell, it was at a function with mostly people from where i work and it was fun for the most part, but apparently one of these women had flirted with the others husband and tried to "makeout" with him, so obviously the 1 woman was not happy, so first she goes nuts on her husband and starts beating the crap out of him, and of course he runs away so her anger goes to the other woman, of course, the other woman was not going to let her just go off on her so they started beating the hell out of each other and by that i mean, hair being pulled out of heads, and faces being scratched till they bled

i was the primary one that tried to break it up and ended up with scratches on my arms and neck, i finally got one off and the other continues hitting her so finally someone else manned up and grabbed the free one, and we got them both removed, basically it took a threat of calling police before they would leave without "settling" it.

so how was your weekend

woohoo, so i can finally walk again and put weight on my foot, its great to be able to be normal again, lol. never realize how much you miss just taking a quick trip to the store without a whole big ordeal, granted i still have a walking boot for the next 4 weeks but hey its a hell of alot better than before

AND Lets Go Flyers!!!!!!!!!, been following this team for 20 odd years and would love to see them finally win the cup for the first time in 35 yearS

So coming off ankle surgery and still unable to put weight on it, i had really been looking forward to the U2 concert in July, scratch that now, Bono had surgery and postponed the whole american tour, according to the email to be rescheduled in 2011, that majorly sucks

on to better things, got the new STP record, download whatever the kids are calling it these days and it is surprisingly good, watched their concert on Palladia channel and Weiland looked like a tool with a extremely tight t-shirt and skinny jeans, but they did sound good and he had alot of energy
