So my subscription to SG is almost up, and unfortunately I'm not in a position to renew it at the moment. It's been real, guys!

Now, before I go, I was hoping that perhaps I could do some begging/pleading/groveling. In a few weeks, I will be taking part in THE AMAZINGLY QUEER RACE FOR ECONOMIC JUSTICE (which is organized by QUEERS FOR ECONOMIC JUSTICE). They do some amazing work, and help to provide members of the LGBT community with the help that the government seems so reluctant to provide these days. In any case, I have been having the HARDEST time raising money. I made a post on my tumblr a few weeks ago, griping about my situation. People will shell out money for breast cancer awareness in a heartbeat, but when you ask them to support queer rights and queer issues, they can't be bothered. Little do they realize that for a lot of our queer brothers and sisters, every day is a battle as well. It is of a different sort, but it is no less important.

So, my plea...

Please, if you can, visit my page and donate. I know that it's a rough time, with the economy being what it is, but if you can even just donate a dollar, it will make a difference in someone's life, somewhere down the road.
