Ed just came round and cut my hair. We've got a new website up seeing as live.com.au has sunk back to wherever it came from. It's here. Everyone go look at it and tell me I'm beautiful. 
I'm going to get a new tattoo this month I think, most likely after we get back from brissy. I'm not sure what I'll get though, I'm thinking a half sleeve with a squid fighting a robot, but I'm not sure. I'm kind of a bit cautious about getting a half sleeve done. Mostly cause I've only got two arms and I don't want to think of something better later. But I've been happy with what I've got done so far...

So I went to hospital the other day. I was opening this security gate at work and didn't realise you had to lift it off the wall. So it fell on top of my head and I started bleeding everywhere. Felt dizzy, sat down, drank water, went to hospital, got a tetnus shot and all my nerves tested then went home. I felt like a spaz.
We played a little show last night with a couple of friend's bands. It was more like a party than a gig. I got really drunk and then got told off by the manager, who I work for sometimes, for bringing drinks into the pub. It was stupid of me and I feel like an idiot. That's not the way to stay in the good books. So what are you lot all up to? Any schemes for all this hot weather?
We played a little show last night with a couple of friend's bands. It was more like a party than a gig. Played our first gig for ages on Saturday night, it was the first in our long month and a bit of shows. Something like 9 gigs in 4 weeks or something. Anyway, the gig went OK, a couple of technical hitches but we're pumped for the upcoming shows. Things sounded really good and we had a great reaction from the crowd and everybody there. Well except for the town bikes who we got in the way of as they ran off to get changed between their acts.
I bought a screen the other day to print some stuff, I'm doing the prizes that I give away at my trivia night and then some other stuff for me. It's so easy, I don't know why I didn't get off my arse and do it earlier.
I've been pretty busy with the band and work and stuff, so if I'm not around it's not cause I've cracked it and quit or anything.

Yesterday when I was riding my bike I put the brakes on and a little pin flew out and the handle came off in my hand. Whoops! 
I'm doing a double shift today and I've just got home for a bit of rest until I go back and do my trivia night. I've got the worst headache but I've got to be charismatic and shit and then I'm closing and I've got to open tomorrow morning. Had a hectic day yesterday when the computers went down in an electrical storm and we had just two of us on and had to fix it in a couple of hours or we would've been fucked on our busiest night. But I'm enjoying work, all these things aside.
Things are gearing up to be great for our tour up north, we've got a label interested in putting us out too, which is great. I've got to do a bit of boring sampler homework between now and then though, if I can find the time. I'm gonna go put my head in a bucket of ice now, I hope all you guys are doing good. Last night I dreamt about having an interveiw for the course I want to do and getting in. So if I do then it really means my dreams have come true. Sometimes I wonder why I drink...

Yet again I'm up far too early. I want to go back to sleep but I've got things to do. My friend is having his birthday at lawn bowls this sunday. I never thought the day would come, I thought this modern lawn bowls are cool fad would pass me by. I'm not sure what's going on, I'm tired. I don't know what I'm typing.

I had a really disturbing dream last night. Here are some (low) highlights.
-A music festival, arriving on a yacht, watching a performance artist who's act involved setting up and smashing rubbish bin sized pint glasses to make music.
-A cleaner comes in and knocks them over just before the end, gets dragged out by security who beat him up.
-I find out about why he did it and why they beat him up, the organiser of the festival tries to catch me.
-My friend comes to help me when I'm hiding out but gives me up to the baddies. I throw him out of the window of a 50 storey building. This bit really freaked me out.
-My lady and I are running off to the bush to escape and we know they're coming to get us, but we're too worried about putting on clean socks and putting batteries and film and coins in the camera and they catch us. I wake up.
I've been having heaps of really vivid dreams lately, but this is the first one that's freaked me out. Sorry to bore everyone with a dream entry, I'll do something really exciting today and post about it tomorrow. I'm learning how to open up at work today, better not be late.

Well then, lots of stuff has been going on for me of late. My trivia night has been made a weekly event and we're having a big grand final and giving away a keg at the end of the year. The big boss is also impressed with me and made me a day manager. Yay! Also great news my best friend is now Assistant venue manager. We're slowly taking over.
