Thanks for the input. I ended up getting the Chrome bag because it was comfortable and readily available locally which meant I could try it on for size. It is principally for the scooter which means if it rides too low it bounces off the seat unlike a bike or a motorcycle, so fit is important. I also figured that while telling you how many beers it will hold is an excellent marketing ploy, all messenger bags will, in fact, hold beer and figuring out how much is a trial and error process that holds no terror for me. Also, while the seatbelt buckle is queer as a three dollar bill, its quick release aspects are, actually, really goddamn handy.

In other news they have located a compressor for my car, finally, but the new seat for the Vespa is in Italian vacationland limbo.
