we are so lucky in this country...pray to whatever kind of madness that you think oversees this finite chaos called existence for the people who don't even have the security to walk down their street. Iraq, Afghanistan...what can i say to you? send you a postcard with the message "wish you were here"? you were screwed to begin with -now you are royally fucked. pray for the people who wake up to a war-torn nightmare everyday and for the thousands and thousands of dead civilians. i want to apologize to the world for the past four years of American Arrogance, (well 230 years, but the past four have been in the extreme), and for the sentence of another four years to come. i love this country, it's my home. it tears me up to see it run by an ass-backwards, fundamentalist, rich good ol' boy without a clue. pray for the young men and women in danger oversees and for those already lost...i have two friends in Iraq, another leaving on december first, and one already haunted beyind repair from his time there. it's a fucking mess..

slumber party! my friend tuesday is staying with me in my dorm room tonight so i won't be waking up cold and lonely tomorrow morning. hooray! we went to roller derby tonight, it was fun. shinola played and they were great! 
on saturday night my friend rented a private karaoke room, if you've never been to place like that you should go. it's really fun. i did a crazy, drunken rendition of anarchy in the uk. johnny rotton would have been amused, i think. goodnite all, i'm tired.

today was a good day. i found a ten dollar bill in my jacket pocket (woohoo) and what was the first thing i did? why, i walked my happpy ass to antone's records! i got big brother and holding co.'s cheap thrills. it has janis doing summertime, yay, i've never heard her on vinyl before. plus i have three dollars left which should last me in coffee for tonight and tomorrow night. yes, i have an exam tomorrow and no i am not prepared, so of course i'll be up till three cramming my brain.... my next dillema is deciding wheather or not i want to take the number one across the river to joe's coffee or walk to spider house to study. hmm, decisions, decisions. wow, i'm a big nerd, i've been spending way to much time alone lately...well, i can't get into that or i'll be at this little machine all night. eskimo kisses and sweet dreams to all of you!
