Next year is gonna be huuge. So much stuff going on! With the band we'll have both our studio and acoustic EP's ready in January and we've got provisional dates for gigs pencilled in right up til June, yusss. On top of that I'm working on a TV pilot for an arts based showcase that is coming together well that I'll hopefully be shooting in April. Gonna try for my 1st proper holiday away with kiddo this summer too, somewhere I can take her to explore and look into the history of a place would be cool.
This year has been a fucking write-off, some stuff has went sooo badly, but I think I have my cards stacked and next year looks damn cool.

Where's good for a Sunday day/night out in London? I need some good ideas! Live music is always a good start....
Well the gig went f'kin awesome on Saturday! It was a loooong day trying to stay kinda sober from arriving at 1.30pm til our set at around 10pm but I did not too bad =]
The set went down really well, it was cool to play on such a big stage and 2nd top on the bill behind a band that played T in the park last year. The gig got reviewed too and our set got a great write up as the band of the day, fuck yeah =]
On with the rest of the week and works been damn busy, so glad I have tomorrow off to take kiddo to the Zoo. This is her 1st time so it should be fun! Will be good to get some quality time with her before I head down to London at the weekend. Really looking forward to a few nights out down there away from here.
A few days of dumbassery are much needed =p

Maaaannnn It's gonna be hard to have any mojo for my gig today! Had a crappy sleep, woken up an hour earlier than usual to kiddo having pee'd the bed which she hasn't done in aaages =/ she's all upset. Then we make breakfast and her porridge bowl pretty much explodes all over the inside of the microwave, then i catch my finger in the cupboard door arrrggh lol.
Gonna put some tunes on to get us moving and head out to try and rock this day!

I need some new people in my life... I'd like to invite any random who reads this to come say hello, tell me about their day, problems, or any random shit. Ta =]

Let's start by saying this week can go and f**k itself!!!
Saying I've been a grumpy cock this week barely covers it but I think I'm getting my sh*t together now. One more stupid 12hr shift then I get some time with my daughter followed by a near full day gig at which my band are 2nd headliners- f'kin happy! Gonna have a cliche day and drink my worries away haha =p
My love life is a diabolical mess, whoever said having a fu*k-buddy is the easiest way to get laid and stay happy without the insanity and complication of a relationship doesn't know what they're talking about, yeah it works to a point but in the end your left with someone who's a good friend, a good bed-buddy and the awkward - "hey yeah well this was great, but now I don't wanna do this with you any more... " and human nature being human nature the other person is gonna get hurt, jeeeeez why do we feckin not see these things coming? This is gonna suck letting her down =[
Balls!
Outside of that I've just booked up to head to London to visit a friend and go catch a show at the Brixton academy, it's a f'kin legendary venue and I can't wait to see how it sounds and generally enjoy some chill time away from home, yasssssssss =]

Huuuugely awesome gig last night at Maggie Mays in Glasgow! Brilliant crowd who all seemed to really take to us =] It should really be the last set with this set of songs, we have 6 new tunes in the pipeline all of which are as strong or stronger than we have now. Really excited about where we can take the tunes next year (|=]>
Last night was aaaaawesome! My band had a last minute gig booked in a place we'd never heard of before.... picture a bar with as much space as ur average living room and then us with all our kit, picture it rammed with a crowd who don't know what to expect who have been lulled into a false sense of security by an earlier opening acoustic set, then KAPOW! lol Cue sweaty loud awesome-gig-ness!!! Everybody seemed to really enjoy it barring one woman who kept bugging us during the songs about it being too loud and anyone else who would listen to her =/ We assured her that in that size of venue deafening was as quiet as it got =] In the end she was holding up our last song talking into Keirs ear when he leans into the mic and shouts "If it's too loud, go home" and wallops straight into the Foo's "All My Life"! Cue a huge cheer and a perfect end to a cracking gig! (",)
