Grrrrrr.

Sometimes I really wonder if I would enjoy going to a gun range. Shooting a gun, there I mean. I sort of think I really would. I sort of think I would like it enough that I'm creeped out by how much I imagine myself potentially sort of really liking it. Pretty powerfully creeped out, really.

It might just solve all my built up tension issues though. Maybe that's why I'm creeped out by it. Maybe it makes me more tense because I'm creeped out by the potential of potentially not being tense anymore. And then I get all tense about why I would think that.

I also think maybe I'd be really surprised and alarmed by the incredibly loud noises it would make.

...I'm a crazy person.

They give you earmuff thingies. No more loud noises. I'm no gun-nut, but I do enjoy going shooting on occasion. If only I'd known you had an interest in such things, we could have gone while you were here.

there is a place in burbank (across from costco) thata I went a couple of times. I highly reccomend it.

There's a shooting range downtown. We should hook that shit up. I know there are people in that other group that's totally not a downtown regional group that have been going to a shooting range, so maybe there's enough interest for a jaunt down there.

Also, zombie practice indeed.

holy christ i'm going thru my old journals and tell me if you remember this

Ok Since only like 3 people get the joke i'm going to explain it, or atleast give some background on it.

The ' J.O.C.D.' stands for Jumping Outof Cars Division.

this came out from last wed. at s SGLA thing me and poopydave were standing on the sidewalk when a police car rolled up and 4 cops got out and walked inside the place we were eating. the thing was they were all wearing jumpsuits of a sort. like full lenght brown jumpsuits with patches on them and stuff. and it was funny cause they looked stupid and they were cops. so me and dave were like hmmm i wonder why they are wearing jumpsuits, and i was like maybe the are parachutteres or something. and dave was like maybe they jump out of cars, HENCE JOCD.

me and dave then proceeded to fake interview each other pretending to be in the JOCD, saying how while driving down the road we jump out of cars on to pedestrians that are j-walking or stuff like that. and we kept telling stories of how we were jumping out of cars and taking down people.

A friend of mine worked at two of the larger gun ranges in LA and Venture area for years. He has some very interesting stories about some of the odder customers.

You should go with a group; it will be way more fun. I don't think you should be creeped out by it, though. All sorts find fun and release at ranges.
