Six of Pentacles. "A generous nature combined with good business sense. Material gain. Philanthropy. Sincerity." Sure could use some of that!

Yesterday we had breakfast at Waddle's (still, as far as we know, slated to become a Krispy Kreme next year ), then hit the as-is Goodwill in Hillsboro and got 2 carts full of stuff. Then came home and worked around the house. There is just no end to the stuff that needs to be done around here.

I got some Claritin-D (the house brand equivalent, anyway) and it seems to be working well (I took it a few years ago for the same thing back when it was still Rx-only); I'm feeling better and not coughing quite as much. But it made me so spacey that when I hooked up the hot water to run the dishwasher last night, I forgot to actually turn the water ON. So I had to run it again this morning. What an idiot.

Watched the E! special on Courtney Love last night. I really can't stand E! - could be the most superficial cable network around (WHY in the name of all that's good and holy am I supposed to get worked up about those air-headed stick figures called the Hilton Sisters???). Their camerawork is annoying and their narrations are so overly dramatic and heavy-handed. Subtract all that out, and the show was halfway decent. I really like Courtney, and I hope she pulls through this latest crisis and FINALLY gets some serious help. I know she's a member here, and she's done a lot to promote the site. People talk shit about her, but she's only human. Cut her some slack, for chrissakes.
