Haven't been around much. Much less free time at work means much less free time at home, since all the stuff I used to do at work I now do at home. Well, not all of it, it's still third shift and theonly reason to work third shift is because there's less work and more freedom than first or second shift.

I've been slacking on the comic, been playing with that newfangled 'SecondLife' thing. On the up side, it's seriously gotten me back into CG modelling and texture mapping. The stuff I've made for it should round out my portfolio quite a bit, at least as far as texture maps go.

It's also made me a bit of money, and hopefully more as time goes on.

Where to begin?

Getting married in October.

Got promoted in December.

Recently finished the pages for my 4th comic issue, and should have only one more to go to finish up the current webcomic.

Visited my family in January, and got a bunch of my old stuff out of the deal.

Bought a new computer. Bought a NICE computer.

Been doing pretty well overall.

Yo. My account expires today, and I'm somewhat poor. So I'm going grey the moment the clock turns over. I'll likely be back again someday.

Anyone who needs me can reach me through the email address on my website.

Got the third issue of the comic from the printers about a week ago, looks great! Still, what I've got done for the fourth issue so far looks much better. I can't wait to have it finished and in my hands.

I've been unusually poor for the past month or two. Mainly due to making two cross-country trips in August. Went to a wedding in Montana early in August, then went out to Otakon a week later to promote my comics and hang with friends. I didn't sell nearly as well at Otakon as I'd hoped, and came home with some massive debt in the form of hotel costs, food costs, gas costs, etcetera.

I've almost got that paid off. Should be done with it come next paycheque (less than a week!).

This month I'm looking at some more debt. Part of that being the third printed issue of my webcomic. I'm looking forward to having the books, even though I'm no longer planning to hit a con this month. Instead I'll be hitting one in January, then going straight from there to visit family, since that's the closest I usually get to the old hometown.

Since I can't afford to pay for advertising like I'd hoped, I'm posting vote incentives (sketches, previews, random photoshop fun) in a small attempt to drum up some promotion that way.

Added some j-random photos.

In other news, we introduced the new cat to the old cat, and they seem to be mutally inclined towards new levels of adorable.

Just finished reading Shogun, and now consider it one the best books I've read in years. Excellent story, excellent character and relationship developement, just excellent overall. Honto.

Submitted my order for issue #3 of the Spud comic, and will be mailing out the files to the printer on Monday. I was going to wait and redo some art, add some backgrounds, etcetera, but the printing company I go through has fallen behind again and is going to stop accepting orders from this Monday, the 15th, until sometime in mid to late September, wich may be too late to have the books before Reactor in October.

I've also begun work on a new comic to run in Otazine, provbided they bend the upper page limits for me. They usually want 10-20 page comics, and I normally submit a 10 page comic due to time and story constraints, but this comic is already at 24 pages and will take a couple more to wrap up. If Otazine won't take it, I'll either print it up myself, or shop it out to other comic book publishers. We'll see.

Finally finished issue #3 of the webcomic, and should have it off to the printers later this week. Possibly tonight, as there's not much week left. Unfortunately, I won't have it in time for Otakon next month, but I'll still be selling the first two webcomic issues, plus two issues of Otazine that I've contributed to. Not too shabby.

Going to be gone a lot next month, before driving out to Baltimore for Otakon, I'll be heading in the opposite direction for a trip out to Montana for a wedding. I'll apparently be like 15 minutes from Canada, so I might head up and look for a Tim Horton's.

Finally got around to putting my Christmas profile pic in my photos, and a photo of me after my semi-annual haircut.
