Thank god this craptastic year is almost over. I can only hope that the next year is better! What about the rest of you? If any of you read this, how was your 2007? Good or bad or shitty?
Today started off ok, had a good dream, woke up, kissed my girl good bye before I jumped in the shower...the usual. I got dressed and walked out the front door. I pressed the unlock button on the remote to my truck but didnt see the lights flash...hmm. As I got to my truck I noticed somethin hangin out of the 2nd door. Two black wires were hangin out, somethins wrong.
Forgetting about the fact that my lights didnt flash or my horn didnt honk when I tried to unlock it just a few moments earlier, I reached Up and opened the door. It pulled right open...uh did I not close my door all the way when I got home? Yeah I remember locking it before goin in, now I know somethins wrong. I stand up and look in my truck, my heart falls to my feet, my stomach raised to my chest and adrenaline floods my body..ive been robed.
I begin to survey the damage careful not to touch anything...carpet is ripped up, cut wires are laying everywhere, the instrument panel has been ripped off, my sterio, nav unit, sub, amplifier and my CD's are all gone. But this doesnt explain why theres no power.
After swearing at the top of my lungs for several minutes my neighbor, Stewart, comes over to see whats wrong...I show him.
"Holy shit, they really got you man. I thought it was odd that your leather jacket is on the ground."
Shure as shit my leather jacket and the wire harness to bypass my ignition lock are under the front passanger tire. Then I notice that the passenger door is open...fuck, now what. Stew points out that the hood has been poped as well.
It was at that time I saw how they got into my truck. There is a hole drilled into the door, righter under the lock where the metal of the door meets the plastic for the handle frame. Thes guys are pros...
I call the police and 2 hours later a CSS (Community Service Officer) arrives. She takes the report, I show her the truck and she tells me that she just left a house just down the street that had a truck get robbed of tools and that she just got another call for another auto robery for a house right across the street!!! My sterio system was about $5k give or take a few hundred and my CD's...all 140 of em...at least $2k. The guys across got hit for about 20k and the other guy for about 10k. Is it time to move?
The CSS was able to lift 5 finger prints...2 of which came out really well hopefully these will turn up something. Once she was finished I poped the hood...remember how the lights didnt flash or the horn didnt go off when i pressed the button on the remote? Now I know...those fuckin ass holes cut the batery cables!!
After spending 6+ hours on the phone and dealing with the police, curious neighbors and what not, im finally almost finished with this ordeal. The police report was taken, Prints were lifted, an insurance claim was filled, repairs to my truck are scheduled and my truck has been towed. Auto insurance will cover all the damages to the truck as well as the sterio and Nav unit. They wont cover the CD's and my agent wasnt sure about the sub or the amp. Its cool though because Misty got us renters insurance and they will cover up to 52k of lost property. So in the end ill have exactly what I started with...A nice truck, a sweet sterio system and all of my CD's. But it wont take away the paranoid feeling ill have before I go to bed now. Or the feeling of helplesness being robbed gives you. I need my damn dog! Hopefully the reparis will be finished and Ill have a new sterio before my drive to Washington...im keeping my fingers crossed

god damn...i havent put anything here since my birthday. Damn... Work is getting annoying lately, they fired one of my team so now im short handed and ive been working 11 hour days for a few weeks now. It sucks... I dont like being in the office from 9 am to 8pm or later, mostly because i cant get anything outside of work accomplished. Since im 100% commission only it doesnt make a difference if i work late...im not paid for my time, just for loans I close. But the money has been good...mostly because this is the busyest month of the year for me, itll slow down soon. Then again were expanding operations and have already opened 2 new offices with at least one more planned for this year...ugh. I need my damn realestate license so I can start brokering loans and stop processing them. hmm, well thats about it...so now i guess you can get back to lookin at nudie photos of hot ass women...yeah
Sweet!! Tomorrow is my birthday! Why am I the only person who looks forward to their birthdays? My girl, Jenny, almost cryed when she turned 25 in December...i dont get it...
Welp Im headin out to the bars tonight, ive got a crew of over 20 people comin with, its gunna be sweet! Then tomorrow Im off to the Raggamuffin Fest. In san francisco to see Matisyahu! I cant wait!!

well Jenny's first set got rejected...have another one already finished and were gunna talk to a photographer in SF early next month. Hopefully one of the sets gets accepted.
Its almost time for my anual trip to Pittsburgh, PA, ive been goin every october for 5 years now, this makes 6 i think, and I still havent really found anything to do. But im going for a very close friends birthday so its worth it. Anyone know of any good shit to do out there?
Think im gunna have a beer and a smoke now, then im gunna get some!!!
