Today we are longing on the beach. Here is the view from the chair...
The hills in the distance are small volcanoes, the site of the last eruption to occur on Maui, a few hundred years ago. There are some cool otherworldly lava fields just past these hills, I am looking forward to hiking through them in the next couple of days.

We drove up! Howecer,me saw many people cycling up. We met one woman who had been cycling up from sea level for 6 hours,,and still had a hour to go. Most people take a shuttle and ride down! @adelina
