Today I started my week on the farm. I housesit for a client who has a farm here just outside of town. They own a restaurant in town called Zin. They grow all the veggies here at the farm and raise chickens for eggs for use in the restaurant. Everything is organic and homegrown. But housitting tends to drive me crazy because it is like a zoo around here. There are 3 dogs, 3 inside cats, a litter of porch cats that are feral and about 30 chickens... give or take a few of everything. One of the dogs is a Katrina rescue and is a total spaz. One of the cats is completely special needs and loves the water. The second you turn any water on in the house, he comes running.

It is fun but definately makes me firm in my decision to only have 1 cat and 1 dog! I usually have insommnia the first few nights here so I may be around and in chat at odd hours. But I hope I can sleep tonight because today was a doozy and I have another 14 hours shift in front of me tomorrow! For now, I leave you all with the zoo...
