Hello. It’s been a while. Looks like the SG marketing elves are back in action and handing out free temporary memberships.

So, what have I missed?

I just attended a cupcakes and cocktails party on the way home from work. The cupcake girls had slightly disturbing little heart-shaped aprons on. I think they were cute, but in that vaguely offputting kawaii way. Still … free cake and booze action. Can’t knock that for a Tuesday evening.

There‘s always too much to do on Fridays. I think I’d like to split Fridays down the middle and spread them out into the weekend a bit.

Ach, bloody hangovers. They’re always worst on a Monday morning.

Yes, I know. It’s time to go to work. It can wait until I finish my tea. A man has to keep his priorities straight.

Until half an hour ago, I thought it was Wednesday. I rushed home from work because on Wednesdays I have Things To Do.

Turns out, it’s Tuesday.

On Tuesdays I have other things to do, but I’ve left the means to do them at work.

Arse.

On the other hand; woo, yay, night off.

Three months’ free membership? Why the hell not. Thank you very much. I suspect that I’m thanking a marketing campaign, but have no problem with that.

So, it’s been a while. What have I done sine last hanging out here? Got married. Got a dog. Happiness ensued.
