Oh my. An Oregon winter is upon us. Foggy or overcast days in between weeks of rainstorms every couple of days.
Although I look forward to the Winter Solstice when the light begins to return - Yes!

If the creator of the world says that we're just fine and all he asks is that we follow him - then doesn't that imply an amazing life?

I need to see Scotland. Aside from the obvious need to do pilgrimages to the at least one or two dozen whiskey distilleries, the moors are calling. And I want to visit the small coastal town where "Local Hero" was filmed. Maybe not this year...but sometime.

So. I tried out the Red Robin near our new office. $14 later I get a cheeseburger, fries, and coke that would have cost $6 at any other hamburger joint. And, the fries would have been better.
There's a place to "X" off the map.
But, I did get to hear them sing the Red Robin"Happy, happy, birthday" complete with enthusiastic clapping several times...goodie.

It's still winter (although a wimpy one by mid-western standards) but there are signs of summer coming in the days getting longer - I look forward to the warm days of summer.
I'm getting a bigger office at work - big woop!

OK, one Las Vegas trip down.
I stayed at the LV HIlton. They were featuring Barry Manilow and I was sore tempted to go see him (KIDDING!!)
Next week it's the big National Assoc of Broadcasters show - lot's of eye-candy stuff (including the Booth Babes).
I'm ahead in my gambling winnings by 50 cents - maybe I can improve that this next trip.
