Well. This has been an interesting day. I have actually been nervous all day watching the elections. Know the results are done, I can say I am honestly happy that President Obama won. But this has been a good day for the United States of America. We kept the better person in the white house. We have elected an openly gay Senator. Three possibly Four states have done the correct thing in allowing everyone the right to get married. Two states legalized Marijuana which will probably end up helping those states raise more taxes and have less people needlessly in jail.
It seems I have become optimistic in this country. Which suprised me, I still know there is a lot of work this country needs to do. But hopefully know that some of the big issues have been corrected we can start on the rest.
I suppose if someone were to ask me which politacal party I know belong, instead of just saying Libertarian, I may say Blue Dog Democrat or just a plain Fiscal conservitive Democrat.
All this is coming from a poor soul stuck in Salt Lake City, Utah. Were in my place of work, I will be the odd man out. I already am being an Athiest, but atleast there is one more athiest at my workplace. But saying I would be a supporter of Obama, that would get me ostracized and ignored. That is what happens in Utah. I am expecting a lot of sad faces tomorrow at work. But I think our country is goingt to be in a better posisition then it would have been if Romney would have one.
Lets hope we can start fixing what is now ailing our country. Lets keep this good trend going.
