Traveling around New Zealand, glad to be back in the sun again. Going to be around Cali and parts north in a week. Yay!

Hhhmmmmmmm.... Sometimes I wish I could just be one and not have second thoughts. I would have so much more sex but then that whole mind thing comes into play and totally fucks me up. (sigh)

Anyways, if you were of the mind to come work down here in Antarctica, DON"T!!! Wait a year or two... Unless you don't drink, don't smoke (anything,) or DO drink disgusting re-hydrated powdered milk that is. Starting this coming summer they are not selling any booze (wine and beer but that's all) in the store, they are cutting the food order by 50% (no more fresh avocados at all,) no more cheese (well, served in small quantities at Sunday Brunch and that's it for the free cheese so bring your own!,) and less people. A blessing in the summer but I would not want to winter with only 90 in the winter (depending on the job and crew (always love to winter with Kay ) This place has now reached FUBAR status Avoid it at all costs!!!

One week until Mid-winter! Yay! We did the polar plunge last night over at Scott Base. Yay for boobies!!! It was actually quite nice and fairly warm outside, warmer than I expected it to be. Ended up in Nick's room, Nick of Big Dead Place fame with about 3 other people. We were drinking and got to chatting and it turned out that everyone in the room (a random and eclectic mix of people) had our birthdays within a week of each other. That was quite the strange coincidence, the polar plunge then partying with aquarians. Hmmmmm...

Yep, still kicken (da bucket) and hanging in there. I was (unfortunately) invloved in a really wierd recent converstion, not wierd so much as off-the-wall, but in mixed company and the fact that the guy talking was actually talking and asking suck questions. He was kinda like the epitomy of a "PRICK" if you will. But, especially in my drunken state, made me think a bit about, well, (42 - the answer to life, the universe, and everything) lots of things. Like breast size, for example, does that (breast size) make an attractive woman more attractive? Really? Does a cup size make that much difference? Me, I say no, not really. It's not that big of a deal to me as long as they are not too out of proportion either way. Me, I like eyes, faces, smiles. I mean, you really can't have a conversation with tits, attractive as they are, or a really hot body. During sex, all they do is bounce around in various ways and positions, which are not all nice to look at. I guess faces can be the same way but seeing the "O" face is...

Still alive!!! The sun is pretty much gone now and the auroras are starting to peek out of the clouds along with the stars. Not quite full winter yet but it's definitely getting there. Talk about cold... -94ambient, -125windchill. No such thing as "Weather Conditions" here at the pole, it just effin cold! FuckinFreezin is right! Other than that just chillin and feelin out the groove. KY's girlfriend is down here this year and some things just click into place when I found that out last night. Things that make you go hmmmmmmm...
Interesting place this South Pole. Quite the social experiment. I could have tons of fun if only I were a bastard hehehe. Not sure I wanna go there tho... Trying to keep clear of the drama, useless tho that is. Probley have better luck stopping breathing. Crazy daze ahead...

Wow. Location change. At South Pole for the next 9 months or so. What a way to start a year. Looks like it should be good though. Yay! We even get LAN hook-up in the rooms!
