So, I'm watching this new show, "Average Joe" on NBC. It's another reality show, set up just like "The Bachelorette." Basically we got one hot girl, Melana, looking for love. She meets a bunch of guys to achieve her goal. The twist? Well, the guys are all "average." To tell the truth, they are mostly below average, either being a fat slob, or a 36 yr old geek virgin.
Well, my friend Roach and I were talking after the show on Monday night. Ya see, she had to narrow the field from 24 to 12, and she really trimmed the fat. (Pun intended.)
I personally feel that Melana is being a sport about the whole thing. Roach feels differently. As anyone would have predicted, Melana cut the fat guys first, 3 of them. Now these guys were fucking HUGE. Then she cut a normal guy, a short guy, and the 36 yr old virgin. All to me, good choices.
Here's where this rant comes from: She kept the jerk, Zack. Now clearly, anyone can tell from spending 3 seconds with this guy, that he is obviously a complete asshole that longs for the glory days of high school, or the fraternity life, and gets most of his dates by treating woman like shit. Melana knew this. She was warned by the other guys as well. My point: this chick ain't stupid.
Not only did she keep Zack, but she also MADE OUT with him earlier in the show, on a one-on-one date.Now, as I said, Roach and I got into a heated discussion about this. The question being: Do most women like jerks?Despite my best defense against such a gross generalization, I myself kept leaning toward... well, yes. Most women do like jerks.
I myself have fallen victim to several relationships that started on the rebound. These relationships all had one thing in common: The previous boyfriend was a jerk. What did I learn from my experiences? Well, inevitably, in all cases, the girl went back to the jerk.
I think that this basic brain function is hard wired into a woman's brain. The jerk in any group, the guy that's boorish, or treats women badly, or is pushy, brassy, and over aggressive... this guy represents the same caveman that had such tendencies. And those cave men my friends... those cavemen would fight, and fuck, and impregnate, and hunt, and feed the cave-woman.
Due to millions of years of evolution, a woman nows sees those qualities as attractive, despite the social changes in the past 30 million years. I don't care what century we are in, I don't care what any woman says, no woman likes a sensitive guy. Woman want strength, reassurance, & to be taken care of. They also want to be treated like shit.
Now, before you start rolling your eyes, hear me out. Now, I think most woman get to point in their life, that maybe being treated like shit isn't the best way to go. But this point in life does not come at a certain age, and it may never come. My point being, at some point in life, all women want to be treated like shit. ALL WOMEN.
How can I possibly come up with such a conclusion? Research my friends, research. I myself have been the jerk. I have made woman degrade themselves for me, do things sexually they never wanted to do before, take my out on dates (and pay for it) before I would sleep with them. Am I a casanova? Am I Brad-Pitt-good-looking? Hardly. I just found the right women. The ones that wanted it. And I took advantage of it. Am I proud of it, Hell no. I was responding to my own rejection, and taking it out on other women.
Next, there's this guy I know. A 300 pound monster of a man, totally lacking in even the basic functions of social graces. The man grunts. He literally grunts like an ape. Yet, he manages to get the most beautiful women! He drives a Hummer. He works in construction. He's 300 pounds! Get the picture?
How is this possible you ask? How can this ape-man get hot chicks? He's a jerk. Plain and simple. "Please ape-man! Treat me like dirt! Make me clean for you! Make me stand behind you! I am just a lowly woman!"
It all goes back to that brain wiring I was mentioning. Can't escape it. Eventually most women smarten up, but some never do. The proof is in the pudding. Whether it be that hot chick on the arm of the sleaze at the bar, Melana on TV, or Pamela Anderson. Do women like being treated like shit? yup.
