on friday, working at the warhol, i made friends with nin's tour manager, who is a really nice guy, and got free tickets and after party passes to the nin/bauhaus/peaches show for myself and all my friends. seeing jeordie [twiggy ramirez, y'all] was nice. being introduced to JD from le tigre by nin's drummer, the tour manager AND my boyfriend who were all like, "OMG, she has the hugest crush on you" was embarrassing. i got drunk on nin's coors light and didn't bring my camera, alas. i feel like this ought to be a really interesting story, but i'm too lazy to write it all down.
oh. hopefully i can get off of work next weekend, so i can go on a double date with glenn and his sister and her boyfriend to their aunt's timeshare on the jersey shore.

- have to find a place that isn't philip pelusi to get my eyebrows waxed and is close to my house.
- take the bus to shadyside to model for a spread the tribune is doing on american apparel.
- take bus back to squill for interview to be manager of aforementioned salon.
- drive to sharpsburg to get my jean paul gaultier dress altered while i wait at chaz's tailor.
- have dinner at soba with peter and his girlfriend, taha.
tomorrow:
7am-noon: help thommy set up for the hot house party to benefit the sprout fund.
noon-3pm: party at the animal rescue league to celebrate grant we just received.
5:30-9pm: work at the warhol at my dentist's! birthday party.
9pm-midnight: hot house benefit.
midnight-forever: after-party at shadow lounge.
sunday:
open the store at 10:30am and work all day until 8pm.
and my kitties have both been mysteriously ill for the past 2 weeks and are not getting better despite repeated trips to the vet, and it's making me feel like a bad mother. seriously, it's completely depressing.

i might be getting a job managing a hair salon. [cross fingers.] i'm having trouble not wearing my new jean paul gaultier dress to smokey bars. both of my cats are mysteriously sick [we took them to the vet] and won't stop shitting all over my house. i now have a ragdoll and an oriental tabby. i love them soooo much. i wish they would get better soon. i've been feeling really depressed lately and i'm beginning to think i need to rustle myself up some welbutrin, now that i have medical insurance again. volunteering at the animal rescue league is one of the most rewarding things i've done in a long time. i miss all my friends that keep moving away. glenn is djing at the brillobox tonight and i have to get ready for the dancing. 
roommate #4!! mister zoot is running after him, desperate for his attention, trying to get a sniff or two in while the new kitty explores everything.

instead of packing to move, i went shopping and bought a pair of prada silk/cashmere creme short shorts and a black miu miu knee-length skirt. it's perfectly business-like, aside from it being completely see through. meaning it's perfect for wearing with the new shirred back panties we just got in at american apparel. i was going to get a pair of prada sunglasses, but decided to wait until i've secured the pair of prada seeing glasses i've been coveting for the last few months.
we're moving the 15th and i don't even want to think about it.
the moral of this story is that i'm lazy, impractical and incapable of saving money. at least i'm well-dressed.

glenn and i are moving into a weensy little cottage [former maid's quarters?] stuck onto the side of a huge mansion in squirrel hill owned by the sweetest family i've ever met. it has two floors, a working fireplace, a bathtub big enough for two people and window ledges wide enough that i can make little baby couches out of them.
i worked 70 hours this week, to help glenn out at the warhol because so many people suddenly got other [better paying jobs] and quit. does anyone want to work at the warhol? we're hiring right now.
we're planning on being back in nyc [for good] in roughly a year for grad school. i wonder if i'm getting my f'real f'real engagement ring before or after then.

my new kitty is so super gorgeous and loving and fun!! asfjhaslkhfaskfjsld!!!! [and also my first kitty ever, so i'm extra excited.]
he's all white except for his tabby mask and a tabby and white ringed tail. he's also REALLY BIG. think ragdoll breed big. we got him at the animal rescue league after i saw him on petfinder. he was all sad and sneezing constantly from an upper respiratory infection and we took him home and nursed him back to health. well, a week and a half later we're still nursing him back to health. kitty colds are tenacious. he's so loving that i can hardly believe he was a stray. but he IS a really good hunter and was TERRIBLY dirty when we got him.
i also want to say that petfinder.com is my new favourite, because we never would have found him if we had just gone to the shelter, as he was hidden away in the sad sick kitty room. i'm SO glad he got to recover on our couch rather than a tiny cage in a sad room with floor to ceiling sick kitties.
oh! glenn and i are also going to begin volunteering at the shelter in the beginning of april.

i'm also excited to [re]start ashtanga yoga when i get back. and acquire a kitten. oh. and dj at GOTH NIGHT [aka ceremony], which is going to be absolutely hysterical.
