So, check this out. I used to be a hardcore skeptic, almost to a Carl Sagan degree. Circumspect logic was my mantra. But, I'm having a hard time explaining this whole crazy paranormal business happening in my new shack. Yesterday, my lan line kept ringing and ringing. It would go to VM and then start all over again. This lasted for over two hours. No outside number was calling and the phone company had no explanation. A few nights before, we heard footsteps walking across the floor and then a door shut. We confirmed that the alarm was armed, and there was no sign of anyone else being inside. The three cats and one dog were accounted for--they were all sacked out, so there's no way they could have made these noises. Before that episode, doors would lock spontaneously. Not sure what to think about all this, Any ideas?

I'm a skeptic by nature. I seek scientific explanations for everything. But I do believe I have an authentic ghost. If so, I must redefine my cosmology.

I planted my first tree today. It's a four foot Blue Spruce and it's square in my front yard. Next week, I plant a Red Maple in the back.
