Today I did a fiction workshop and i have to say, most people have no fucking clue what they are talking about in a fiction workshop. One person claimed that i must objectify women because my characters did it. One said i must be a drug addict because my characters were. They have no concept that fiction is not autobiographical. I have to say, i love having people critique my work when they can't even write a decent story themselves.
