Aisha and I were sick and uncomfortable for the better part of this morning.
Our own fault. We went to a drive in movie last night, The Bengie, to see a triple feature. Madagascar, Mirror Mirror, and Dark Shadows. That is, cool animation but a movie I did not care about, Snow White has been done to death, and a movie I was prepared to hate but quite liked.
Of course, you cannot bring in your own food at a drive in anymore than you can at an indoor theatre. So, we bought drinks, popcorn, and pizza before the movie. Courtney and Megan, in the front seat, shared a large container of popcorn. Aisha and I both a had jumbo bucket. We love popcorn. We love the yellow colored grease they call butter. Bring it in by the truck load. That is why we never have it in the house. We could survive on popcorn alone.
After the first film, we decided to get some nachos. And drinks. And more popcorn. The nachos were good (not really, but they were tasty American style nachos), we decided to get more after the second film. And drinks. And more popcorn.
This morning, we paid the price. Still, the food was quite good. Next time, we will be prepared, We were all right before the soccer started. Two tasty games.
