Obama endorsed gay marriage today. This made a lot of people in the office happy, for a moment. I was not one of them. Vi said "He cooked his own goose! He can't win now!"

I made the point that this changes almost zero votes. The number of people who are deliriously happy about this is about equal to the number of people who are deeply angered about this. Very few people will base thier vote on this. The people who are happy and the people who are angry have probably already made up thier minds So I do not see any political fallout.

If I find any reasonable information about political fallout I do not see, I will note in future blogs.
