A few days ago, I posted a littel story about a soccer palyer named Ronnie O'Brien, or ROB, for short.
He now may be disaffected. Last year, we had a little "Keep Ruiz In Hoops" campaign, with shirts and a banner. During a team function, ROB went up to someone wearing that shirt and said "Fine, keep him in hoops. What about keeping O'Briend in hoops?" Then he walked away. Very out of character.
After the win against chicago, he walked off the feild, instyead of celebrating and saluting the fans, as he usually does. A few days ago, he declined an interview, saying "You want to talk to FC Dallas players, not ex-FC Dallas players." He did not play in the Real Salt Lake game on Saturday, but was on the bench in street clothes.
There are stories of a trade between FCD and CSKA New Yorkm or whoever they are today, for eqaully upset Aramndo Guevarra. ROB's agent is denying it, but the whipers of a trade have grown to screams.
