Ok, so I've been wanting to be more active on this site, but have been failing at it. I've been without a computer for almost a month now. Just got a new laptop today! I've periodically checked up on this site using my neighbors computer, as I can't really acess this site on school or library computers.
A lot has happened in the past few weeks. I got my car's AC fixed, finally. My tires were slashed twice. I came back from North Carolina with the worst flu I've had in a long time. I got to participate in my younger sister's wedding. It was so good to go back to NC for a little bit, even if I was sick the entire time. I got a new dog. At first he didn't seem to be getting along with my other dog, Rowdy, but now they are like brothers. Rowdy has finally stopped tearing up my house. I'm doing a photoshoot this weekend and I'm really looking forward to it. My son and I have been doing a lot together. His dad's fiance gave birth to a baby girl, so my son is now a big brother. Anyway, I will try to post more photos and be a little more active on this site.

I love reptiles. All animals, really, but especially reptiles. I own a ball python and plan on getting many more. When I was a kid it was my dream job to be a herpetologist. My fascination started when I was 7 years old, at least that's as far back as I can remember. Well, I noticed that my son really likes them, so I started getting him books and showing him videos on different types of snakes. Now he thinks he's a field expert. He's 5 years old and lives in west Texas. His dad caught him playing with wild snakes twice in the past week. Luckily, they were nonvenomous, and he pointed this out to his dad. Unfortunately, there are a lot of rattlesnakes in west Texas, and I really wish he would not get close enough to find out what type of snake they are by himself. I've created a little Steve Irwin and now I'm slightly scared. While I'm happy that he shares my love for reptiles and is eager to learn more about them, I am afraid he's going to mess with the wrong snake in the wild. I hope he listens to his dad and me and leaves wild snakes alone.
I got my tattoo done today! I love it! It was done by Sweet Laraine at Element Tattoo in San Antonio. She was very sweet and down to earth. It was hard taking photos of the whole thing myself.

So I dyed my hair about a week ago. Right after I bleached it, it turned bright orange:

Then I added the red to it:

I'm still anxious for the new tattoo. It's a little closer now. March 19th! Now as soon as I get time I'm thinking about going red for real. I always dye my hair black. It's time for a change. I've been so busy lately. In the past 2 weeks, I've had 3 exams and 2 major papers due. At least all that studying paid off. I've made A's on everything except 1 essay that I haven't received back yet.
Got an apointment booked to get a new tattoo with March 19th with Sweet Laraine in San Antonio . I'm getting a Thylacine, probably on my arm.

OK, off to my second day of class! This is my anatomy and physiology class. This is the one I really need to do well in to get into nursing school. I mean, I need to do well in all of them, but this is the one that is required for admittance.
So, I went to my first day of classes today. I arrived 30 minutes early, you know being raised that 30 minutes early is better than 1 minute late. Well, there were 0 parking spaces. It took me a while to realize that 25,000 students and only 5,000 parking spaces = major suckage. After 22 minutes of trying to find a spot (even all of the handicap spots were taken) I had to park 1/4 mile away. I went as fast as my little leg braces would carry me. I think I (barely) made it in time to my first class, only to discover that my professor was absent. There was a woman present who had asked me to sign in, take a syllibus and leave. Fuck!!! I actually broke one of my braces and kept going just to make it in time.
There were ,of course people pointing and laughing at me. (Girl with two leg braces booking it to try to make it to class on time). This seems pretty typical of the San Antonio attitude. When I let my hair down and took my jacket off apparently I bacame the "hot" girl in class. Ok assholes, I may not be able to walk like the rest of you but I can still hear. All these dumbasses that were talking shit are now hitting on me. I try to get out of here as soon as possible. I walk 1/4 mile to my car only to find a cop wriing a ticket (Apparently I was parked in a 1 hour spot 5 minutes too long). I move as fast as I can and he gives me a break. Well, I guess tomorrow I'll park FAR FAR AWAY, to avoid getting a ticket. I'll get there an hour early and hopefully make it to class on time.
Other than the parking situation, I loved the class I did attend. Tomorow I get to attend the rest of my classes. I am excited to see how it goes!!!
