I'm looking for a new job since obviously the one I have is a dead end. They don't promote people as managers since it's family owned and opperated, so the only managers are part of the family. The "owner" and his sister's (aged 16-23) behave like children and take small petty shit personally and decide to cut your hours if you stand up for yourself even though you are right. They were complaining because I took 2 bathroom breaks in a 10 hour shift. My bathroom breaks averaged about a minute each. I stood up for myself and got sent home early and my hours cut. I use the term owner loosely because his family owns hundreds of franchises along the East coast from Canada to Florida and they are pretty much just given to any male family member once they turn 21. He did not in any way work hard for it, he will even admit himself that he does not do labor and that he is extremely lazy (which is true).

Just 17 days til my son comes back to NC! I'm so excited!!!
