i think it's time for a little update

Our show at Dour Festival was great ! We were playing quite early (13h30) but lots of people were there (+- 500), and stayed the whole show We had such a good time

And yesterday we played at a small festival in Belgium with 65daysofstatic as headliner, how cool is that ?

What else ? Everything is just perfect... I have a new roommate, a new girlie (yeah !), I'm working on a cool project at work (the new websites of the belgian National Lottery), I spend a lot of time on making music and I'm doing sport as much as I can (running and krav maga)

And I had some beers with Raia on wednesday, that was cool too

time for a little update...

what's new ? lots of things; first everything's going well with my band (Mr Spartako - check our myspace) because we will play at Dour Festival this summer !

For those who don't know this festival, it's one of the biggest alternative music festival in Europe (over 200 bands during 4 days where you can listen to hip-hop/drum&bass/electronics/rock/punk/hardcore/folk etc) and it takes place in Belgium.
And for the ones who knows it, we will play on the 14th of August on the hip-hop stage, alongside bands from StonesThrow records, DJ Kentaro, and much more !

What else ?
The Brussels International Festival of Fantastic Film is nearly over and I saw lots of good stuff there... if I had time I would tell you about movies you should see
I went to the show of Amon Tobin yesterday at the Ancienne Belgique. It was "only" a DJ set like usual but he did that very well ! Even if the end of the set was only basic evil drum&bass...
Oh and I have a new toy ! I bought a new midi controller, the Novation Remote 25 SL... it's really great but I haven't had the time to play a lot with it yet

And I'll take part to the Brussels semi-marathon, but I haven't found new running shoes yet

it seems my page needs a little update...

i moved three weeks ago with a friend of mine to a completely refurbished apartment in a more quiet area. 100m², a great kitchen, a big bathroom, 2 rooms and ... a 30m² terrace !
but there are still lots of things to unpack and it pisses me off

musically talking, i'll play at Nuit Blanche (an all-night long event in Brussels, where you can organise whatever party you want) on the 30th of september. so this will be an one hour live set and i'll also play with an hip-hop band from Brussels called Mr. Spartako. check their track "tryptique de bipède", it's a track i made

i'm on myspace too so if you wanna hear some of my stuff and add me to your friends, go ahead. now.

No, I'm not dead; I'm still alive.

I still listen to Youngblood Brass Band a lot (I'm going to their show on the 30th of March in Brussels).
This saturday night I'll play live in Gent with friends in an electronica/experimental party.
On the 17th of March
Vacuum Killer (a totally belgian independent trash movie; some extracts of tracks of mine are on the original soundtrack!) will be broadcasted in the frame of the Brussels International Festival of Fantasy Film so you're more than welcome if you are in Brussels that day.
What else ? I'm still composing with my band (I've bought a new soundcard, the M-Audio Firewire 1814, to record us) and I went to the Microsoft Developer Days this week (and that was quite cool), my girlie turned out to be a real geek and... that's (almost) all
