I look back at the last 12 months and I smile to myself. If someone could have predicted how 2005 would turn out for me, I have no idea how I would have reacted.
I've been a relatively silent observer on SG since around August last year. anepiphany got me hooked when she showed me one of Quinne's sets...
It wasn't fair really. I never stood a chance...
I never thought I had anything interesting enough to say on this site, and I've never really kept a journal before. But then something happened to me a couple of weeks ago which I reckon is worth writing about. I became a father for the first time.
It's a very difficult feeling to describe. To me, it is just a feeling of overwhelming protection for my little one. I'd never met him before. Didn't even know what he looked like. But the very first time I saw him, I knew that it was my job to protect him from everything.
Oh and we named him Charlie.
