It's been three days, and it's weird not having my baby Maylene here with me. My other rat, Magge, has been pretty moody too, because of it, but between the two of us, we're working on moving on. We miss you, little sweetie </3
That aside, the past while has been pretty shitty. We all have those times, where everything is exceptionally hard, even if you think it shouldn't be, but here's to it getting better. I spent most of today sitting around, watching tv, and styling a wig for a cosplay my friend is doing (Izumi Curtis, anyway?) That, oddly enough, really boosted things for me. It's turning out better than I could ever imagine, and I am so thankful for it.
The next while I am going to be swamped with work and school, and though that means money and education, I could really do with some time off. We'll see if that ever happens.
This is happening, though. I will send in an application to be a Hopeful. Things didn't go as I had hoped with my lady-friend, but we are staying as good of friends as ever. So, stuck being single. I doubt you could even really consider it having been anything as it got called off pretty fast. You can put me back in the running for being a Hopeful which brightens things up for me quite a bit.
Anywho, forgive me now for a possible lack of activity, but I'll try and post things as often as possible: pictures, blogs, things like that
Love and nibbles <3

I have always wanted pet rats but I was worried that my dogs would not get along with them. I might just pick a few up when I am settled in after moving.

@chefexcellence I've found that rats tend to get along with just about any other household pet, unless the other pet is super aggressive or bred to be pest control animals (farm cats, Rat Terriers, etc). My rats have always seemed to get along very well with the other animals in the house, namely the cats. The only trouble I really have ever had, if any, were my male rats would get a bit bitey with the cats if they got to close. My girl rats have never seemed to have an issue with it, and the cats love to play with them! Even if there is a problem between the interspecies relationships, rats are great shoulder companions, so as long as they stay up and above it all, everything will be fine x3
