Happy Valentines day everyone. Today has broken the usual ennui with a few great events; my friend's birthday was today, I just received an exquisite print from Phoenix today, and i swam once again in the chilly waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The print I got from Phoenix left me staring for minutes on end; the title is Void and the concept really strikes me. The use of dark lines around the face make the facial features appear projected almost like they're on a tv screen. Also the use of such large eyes makes the face seem as though it perceives everything and nothing at the same time like a true void. This will truly be a great addition to my collection and not too big so I shouldn't catch any trouble hanging it up in my barracks. So the question may pose itself, "Why in blazes were you in the Atlantic Ocean?" Well when you've been running in some hot, itchy, heavy gear for forty five minutes or more and there's a big, cool crisp ocean just waiting to cool you off, wouldn't you jump in too? Who cares if it's below zero? Nobody wants to live forever. My boots still haven't dried out by the way
