still alive.

i'm turning 27 this week. trying to decide whether to try to move to Japan for a while or make an attempt at toughing it out here for another winter. Chicago is getting pretty cold during the winter and work is pretty sparse. i need to find a Mastodon or migrate south to warmer, less severe climates.

if i didn't have a lifetime membership, i'd probably delete this account based on how much don't i use it. however, the photographers here are really stepping it up and that's fun to see. no complaints for naked ladies.

well, i visited Japan for 2 weeks in June. needless to say, it was incredible. life-altering. and no, i'm not talking about Tokyo.

at any rate, it gave me the travel-itchies real bad so i'm heading to Europe on September 5th. pretty stoked for that. Spain (Madrid, mostly), Amsterdam, Berlin, Munich, and Prague.
