So here we stand on the eve of election night 08. Here in the liberal capitol of the United States we are on the verge of changing our state constitution to ban gay marriage. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is'nt this the "land of the free"? I think it ironic that a group of people descended from a persecuted group would now turn around and do the same. The worst part is they are actually putting up signs around here that read "Prop 8 = Religious Freedom". What kind of crap is that? These people make me sick, they quote the bible for their own point and claim to follow it word for word. Anyway if you live here in Cali, then please vote no on 8.

Saw the Rockstar Mayhem fest last night at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in good ole Mtn. View. I went to see Mastodon ,Slipknot, and Machine Head mostly. A fucking awesome show all in all. When it comes to your town check it out, and show Troy, Brann, Brent, and Bill the love they deserve. If you havnt seen Slipknot live yet you need to do it now.

On sunday afternoon my 2 year old nephew Justin passed away in his sleep. He was fighting off a virus at the time. His mother layed him down for a nap, went back an hour later to give him his medicine and he was gone. I am absolutely devestated right now, can hardly string a thought. Writing about it is a little cathartic thankfully. I love all my family and friends and wish you all well.......

Ahhh, December 1st. We already started to put up our Christmas stuff, still not gonna get a tree for like two more weeks. The kids are gonna get progressively more insane as the weeks go by now, but thats half the fun of this time of year. Right???

Well I havnt been here in a while... Lifes been a little hectic and I have had some real world responsabilities that have kept me from being here as often as I like. Life has been pretty status quo. One awesome thing is my sister is here for Thanksgiving I wish she didnt live down in L A that place is not a good place to me. Hope the three people that might read this have a great holiday ....

We are the only country (that I know of) that has an all volunteer military. If you dont believe in war or violence then you dont have to enlist, but you should thank every soldier you see for enlisting so you dont have to. If we didnt have a volunteer military we would be like every other major country where you hit 18 you automatically do at least 2 years in the military. THEN you would have a reason to cry about weather you should fight in a war you dont believe in. Most of our troops dont want to be there, but they took an oath and gave thier word so they go. All my respect and prayers go out to them, and lets do what we can to bring them home soon.

Been a while, just got tired of venting about the daily pile o' shit we get here in the good ole U S of A. Pickin on bush is liketrying to hit the side of a barn from 10 feet away. Fat bastard rove is gone which is probably the best news to come from the whit house in like forever. Life at my local level though is pretty much stayin the norm. Been awhile sorry...just not a lot to say right now. A little dissapointed in the doping fiasco at the tour de france. One would think "Hmmm they are going to make me piss inna cup as soon as I get off of my bike....". I just dont get it. Go figure...lol

If you have children, you might understand what I'm about to say. Yesterday we dropped off my oldest son at summer camp. I think I was far more nervous about it than he was, he just walked off after we checked him in like "See you guys inna week". Calm, cool and collected. Man kids are a lot more mature than we give them credit for......
