Hrm, another blog post, this delurking bit seems to be working pretty well as here's another post in just a couple of days. Perhaps this is because I've been poking around the community side of the site a little more rather than just staring at all the pretty pictures.
I'm rather loving the varied people around here, I'm definitely going to go for another year sub when this current one is up.
Can't say much is really going on in my life right now. While I do color myself as an Author first, I really need to get my book done, I'm making ends meet as a retail drone... at Walmart. Yes, I work for the great, big, blue evil. Honestly, the work isn't horrible but I do wish it paid more and I didn't have to work with two idiots. Thankfully, I'm in the back dealing with the incoming freight more than anything. But, still, it's retail hell and I'll be glad to escape it when I can.
Oh, and the gamer in me is excited that there's just a week left until the release of Mass Effect 2. Yay Bioware RPGs!

So, bought a Blackberry about a week ago, love the thing. Never really been all that into smartphones but, honestly, I like having this particular mobile device. It's got a nice calendar, a memopad function for me to write down story ideas as they come to me, and I can even check my email from my handheld, fucking awesome.
You know, I never really blog that much, I've got two different blogs, one for gaming and one not, that I don't post to near as much as I probably should, and now I decide to post here. Then again, I've been rather fond of the site for a long time, a long time.
It was years ago, like 2003, when I first found it and first had an account. The site was still somewhat small back then but the idea, that those who weren't in the mainstream ideal were still beautiful, that caught me. I think it was a segment on Playboy TV that first introduced me to the world of SG, the lack of money took me away from it for a few years but coming back is rather nice.
Dunno how often I'll post here but I'll try to keep it up as best I can.
