So I went out and voted today. Weee for democracy! I have to say... the old ladies that work at my local polling place have to be the nicest group of ol' biddies ever! They're so cute.

And then over to the post office and the reminder that most government workers are cranky and rude. God bless America!

Finally got around to seeing "Sicko". Good movie, but upsetting. A lot of that crap hit close to home. Really steams my pickle!

I'm making pad thai tonight and I just realized I forgot to pick up cilantro. Bah!

Talked to my sister for a long time last night. It was good to hear from her. She wants me to come out for Christmas. I don't think it's a good idea. It would be great to see her and some of my old friends, but I don't want to have to pretend to like her dipshit boyfriend and it would be all sorts of bad if my mom found out I was in town. I have enough on my plate right now, I certainly don't want to deal with her craziness. From what I hear, she's more unstable than ever. But still, might be better than spending Christmas alone.

Damn, it's gotten cold. I need to buy a coat. The ol' hoodie's just not cutting it anymore.

Yes, this entry is a bit random and disjointed, but that's how I'm feeling today.

It's really good to vote, I wish I had gotten up early enough to go vote.

It seems like a lot of old laieys at those polling places are nice.

I have not seen it yet, but from what I hear it makes you want to move to some where like Canada.

I want some Thai.

Well that is a hard choice, be alone or deal with a dick boy friend.

I hope I get to see you soon.

I'm glad you like my tattoo, it turned out better then I could have ever imagined, it has a lot of meaning behind it, it is the length of a dollar bill and it is in the middle of my back, the guy who did it is JJ at doll star tattoo, is he super good.

I understand, things have not been all that great over here. When are you going away?

I think I was in my new place at the very end of July.

I didn't vote. I am not even registered. I am a bad American.

You missed a good show last night. They played quite a few of the older songs and pretty much played at least one off every album. They played for 2 hours, which is just crazy.

I've never registered. I don't pay enough attention to politics to make an informed choice and I am too apathetic to start paying attention. I would be completely lost when it came to proposals and such. As far as candidates go, I have never seen a candidate of whom I thought, "Hey, that person would do a fantastic job, I agree with their views and their plans." I cannot bring myself to vote for the lesser of two evils. So, I have abstained.

It's not so much that my brother would be offended or shocked (Well, he probably would be shocked by some of the stuff I have on here (like the photosets I have posted) or some of the comments I have made, but he would get over it.). It's just not something I feel the need to make him aware of. Besides, he and I really aren't very close.

I've not been to Findlay. I've heard of it though. It's only Saturdays, right? Maybe we should go sometime.

Theoretically, I will have next Sunday off. I am planning on going to see The Queers in Covington (please join me if you are interested!). But if you want to pop over to the library Sunday morning (or what passes for morning for you, slacker!), I'd be up for it.

Wow, did this ever end up being a long post.
