I've been having fun (hating life) tracking calories lately. I've always detested the idea of turning into a person who stares at the back of a box and reads the nutrition facts of foods for endless hours...... but I suppose I also hate laziness......
Wait a second, I love being lazy......
I also suppose I'm a bit of a hypocrite. Anyhoozle, it's actually been interesting studying up on the foods I eat. The stuff I had thought must be the least healthy for me turned out not being nearly a bad as the stuff I thought would be way low in calories.
Also kind of nice to have an app on my phone that crunches out those figures for me.
ALSO! I don't remember how much I've ranted on here about my issues with the Droid 2 Global (Ooooh, Global...check out Mr. Digital), and I'm to lazy (see previous comment regarding aforementioned laziness) to check myself. Long story short (too late) Verizon will be sending me yet another phone to replace the piece of crap I currently have. Thing freezes up every single time I try and use GPS on it. Kinda weaksauce.
So instead of going with another Droid 2, I'll be trying out the Droid X. It doesn't have a keypad, but if the damn thing works I really won't give a shit about the keypad. All that thing was convenient for was texting, and ever sense I switched to smartphones I find myself texting people a whole lot less..... I dunno why..... It's just odd.
On a completely unrelated note, my girlfriend and I have finalized our divorces with our exes. It's official!
Kinda stoked on life. We've been talking about adding a 3rd kiddo to the madness we already have running around the house. It's never been any kind of official conversation we've had, just kind of mentioning here and there. But we both know that we are serious on the subject. We shall see what comes of all that.
We recently moved into a new place. Same town, wayeeeeeeee better neighborhood, and we ditched the roommate. Stress level has dropped significantly. Like, OMGeezles significantly. It's been real great being able to be more of a family. Even though I haven't been keen on the idea of jumping right back into a marriage after my previous escapades, being in this new living situation really changes things. We enjoy our time together so much more, and I can think so much more clearly.
Well, I dunno where my sporadic brain is trying to take this, soooooooo I'll end it with this:
Easter was great, and the kids totally make the holidays awesome again.
LOVE & PEACE!
