Well I was pissed off that my professor would have us pass in our second paper of the semester before giving back our first. The reason being I hate not having comments or any idea what to do to improve the second paper because the first one is not back or graded yet. I got them both back yesterday though and got a B+ on the first and an A on the second so I geuss I've used up my last resource for complaining.

Sigh

Everything is good.

Except I have been missing Marina a hell of a lot lately. I'm still hoping to go out to Russia to see her this summer, but I'll have to leave eventually which will cause much sadness.

Ok, so back to school today. Time to buckle down and do something other than getting high and strumming my guitar. Fortunately I smoked all my herb over vacation so that's no longer a distraction. Now I just have to concentrate on actually doing my work for the next three months.

This would be funny in the 'thank god it's not me' category.

I'm on vacation from school so I went back to work on Monday. We've been renovating this house since last August. The owners had bought it last summer because the company that the guy works for had moved here to Maine from California. They paid a lot of money for this house, because they thought they'd be living there. The final price for the house, the land, and the renovations are up around $900,000.

The owners just found out a couple weeks ago that the company is moving again, to Massechusets. So they have to sell the house. The problem for them is that they put in a lot of little extras to make it easier for them to live their that don't really have any resale value. On top of that, there's a brand new house for sale up the street for about the same price. It's a real mansion too, even has slate roofs. With that house for sale as well as the house that we're working on it'll probably take them 5 years to sell it. So now they're stuck with this house that they put close to a million dollars into but will not be able to sell for even close to that without waiting for years.

Anyways, the week is going well for me. It's nice to be working again, but I always forget how out of shape sitting behind a desk for a month makes me.

My friend has no conscience. I'd tell the story but it's much to depraved. My jaw dropped as he was telling me though, can't believe the shit some people will do when all they're looking for is to get laid.

New pic is up. No, I'm am not unemployed, contrary to the impression that having a guitar might portray. I am on vacation for a week starting Monday though.

One more class and then I'm on vacation for a week. Wahoo.

Patriots won.
They are the modern NFL dynasty.

I'll be in classes most of the day, I love Mondays during the semester. For some reason I'm so much more excited about getting up and going to class than getting up and going to work. Probably because of the close to ten years I spent getting up and going to work before going back to school.

How pathetic is it that I'm psyched about being one book away from getting Kant's three critiques for under $35 bucks.
