i got a little 3 song demo up, just covers for now until i get the originals done and recorded. ill be playing some shows around the city soon.. i just played lilly's last wednesday and it went really well.

things are going really well in all aspects, im keeping very busy with music, work, and life i general. ill tryo to make it out to an event soon, since its was near a years absence last time. hope all is well with everyone else!

Updates, few and extremely far between, but here we go..

Been really busy last couple months. Band is going well, taking up most weekends. Sometimes some weeknights for practice. Also been working a little solo acoustic project, spent a few days recording the demo. Just 4 covers for now, until I get my songs done. Ive been slacking in that aspect. But demo is almost done, with 3 of the 4 done, and the last one needing guitar redone and a couple vocals parts finished. Hoping to play some solo acoustic shows around town in the next couple months.

Yeah, and there's been a girl keeping me really busy the last couple months too. Its been really good tho.

jesus, here is an update for update's sake. almost two months. im such a fucking slacker. yeah, no, the real reason is i could give a shit about blogs. other peoples are fine, i just could care less about my own. so yeah, first show was last night, it was fantabulous and all that good shit. had a ball at the meet n great tonight. fucking a, what more is there to say?

god this update sucks, maybe the reason i dont update more often...

update again. i actaully meant to update last wednesday, but im lazy.

so the audition for the stones cover band went well. the three song audtition turned into a 2 hour practice. they gave me the job on the spot. the are looking to start playing shows end of april/beginning of may. i have 16 songs i have to learn, 13 actually since i have 3 done already. so im mick jagger now, but the younger mick jagger. should be fun.

sox opening day today, go sox, start the season out with a W.

Hey look, another update! boy it really cooled down this afternoon, still feels nice though. cant complain about the weather we had these last 4 days.

tonight i have an audition for a rolling stones cover band. they are looking for a singer. i havent auditioned for a band in awhile, i figure ill give it a whirl. singing under my thumb, paint it black, and sympathy. spent the last couple days memorizing the lyrics, i think i got them down now. we'll see how it goes.

here is my update. life is grand. fa la la la la. spring is nigh. fa la la la la. i have no money until next payday, but ill survive. i cut my finger. it kinda hurts. ok, that is enough.

holy crap, my last update was almost 2 months ago. what a slacker i am. or maybe my life is utterly boring and i have nothing to say? hmmm, could be.

we got about a month and a half of 2006 left. that went by fast. god, ill be 27 next year, 30 keeps getting closer. dammit.

i like the cold weather. or cool weather i should say. 30-45 is ideal. not so much a fan or 5-15, but i can take it. i really dont like hot and humid, especially since my truck does not have A/C. or a radio. but it does have heat.

took today and tomorrow off, my dad is coming in today from Cali, staying in my spare room. dont know what we are going to do, but its better than going to work. then i have another three day week next week thanks to thanksgiving. i have to go in on that friday after and work 4 hours, but its at double time and half. and there will be little work to do. please shed a tear for poor ol me.

going to the deftones show at the riv 12-8. its sold out, by i snatched up 2 tickets right when they went on sale. should be a cool show, riv is a nice place to see shows. better than the aragon done the street, or worse, UIC or United center. the new albums is just ok for me, i like the first 3 and the last 3 tracks, thats about it.

anyone that hasnt seen the departed, go see it. i cant recommend that movie enough. i saw it a few weeks ago, i want to go again. after a pretty shitty summer, there now a good string of movies out or coming out that i want to see. for a second there, i thought i was done with going to movie theatres. al ot of crap i had no desire to see, and what i did go out and see over the summer, superman, sucked. thankfully, the good stuff is coming. i like movies.

ok, thats that. expect another update in about 2 months.

saw melvins at double door tonight. as i sit here, i dont recall too much of it. but i had a good time, i think...im pretty sure. im off tomorrow, i plan on sleeping until 2 am. holy shit, its 430 now. maybe ill sleep until 3. ill be back at the double door monday night for some metal, my friends Cianide playing a rare show. i may be up at the double door yet again on sunday for the burlesque show, thats still to be determined. what i do know is im drunk and tired right now, so peace to all you all, im going to sleep.
