I never got around to my top 20, or 50, or anything. I was supposed to write on for 'Indie For Dummies' but I was just too busy. Trying to write and album and go to school and work and have a relationship and do 10,000 other things was a bit much in the month of Decemeber... so instead of me doing a list I'm just going to post Tyler's... because he put a lot of work into his!

I love music. With MUCH help from friends, some of my favorite websites and (of course) Soulseek, I've tried hard to keep up with this year in music and have fallen in love with these albums. This list wasnt easy to compile, it's been racking my brain for weeks. There are SO many different albums to choose from, but at the same time everything just sort of fell into place. Let me know what you think...

I thought I would post a little November playlist... because it's cold and sad and dark and lonely... and you need a playlist for that don't ya?

Radiohead- '2+2=5'
Ladytron- 'Destroy Everything You Touch'
Swayzak- 'I Dance Alone'
TV On The Radio- 'Staring At The Sun (alt take)
Matthew Dear- 'It's Over Now'
Kenna- 'War In Me'
Interpol- 'Take You On A Cruise'
Smashing Pumpkins- 'Soma'
Radiohead- 'How To Disappear Completely'
The Seahorses- 'Falling Is Easy'
Placebo- 'My Sweet Prince'
Postal Service- 'This Place Is A Prison'
Massive Attack- 'Mezzanine'
Gus Gus- 'Is Jesus Your Pal?'
Joy Division- 'Atmosphere'

Hopefully you enjoy that... it seems like a very SuicideGirls-y playlist... if you need to know what album any of those are from feel free to ask...

I thought I would post up the set list for this last Friday's 'Spirit Of Albion' radioshow... My show partner went to the movies with his girlfriend so it ended up just being me by my lonesome... which was straight because I got to play these gems...

Catherine Wheel- Intravenous
Pulp- Mile End
Lush- I Have The Moon
Babyshambles- At The Flophouse
Bloc Party- Hero
Elastica- In The City
The Cure- Burn
Curve- Nowhere
Editors- Road To Nowhere
Maximo Park- I Want You To Stay
The Futureheads- Burnt
Wire- French Film Blurred
Boards Of Canada- Left Side Drive
Guillemots- Redwings
Massive Attack- Butterfly Caught
Gorillaz- Dirty Harry
DJ Shadow- The Tiger (feat Kasabian)
Lady Sovereign- Hoodie (Spank Rock RMX)

On Saturday everybody (Seriously like EVERYBODY) went and saw SSM/Canada/Spank Rock/RJD2 for a benefit for our radiostation. It was so fucking sick... Spank Rock restored my faith in music completely... particulary music you can dance to... made me want to go out and buy a new stack of vinyl... but I don't have the money for that!
