I was recently chastised by a few people for being a hunter/fisherman on a recent trip in SW Montana. I've never actually experienced a true hatred like these people had towards me for being who I am. Yes I've killed animals and yes I eat meat but not in the murderer sense of killing. I spend nearly 100 days a year hunting and stalking animals and 90% I go without a "kill" (for lack of a better word). I find it amusing that I in no way forced my point-of-view on these people and yet they were more than willing to harass me, unprovoked. This seems to be a growing trend where extremists feel they need to force their views when I have absolutely no interest in what they think. I wish I were better with words so I could argue with these lunatics but it's probably for the best because I would just get angry.
