Phew! it's been 30 years since I remember the UK being this hot, which is appropriate considering that we are currently celebrating the 30th anniversary of the UK punk scene.
I've been doing my bit with some magazine articles (for example see my myspazz blog) and by helping out my pal Johnny Deluxe with his 100punks project, he's doing some amazing artwork and we've even got legendary punk icon Soo Catwoman lending her support. It's like the movie Ed Wood over here with a rag-tag team of misfits working on pure enthusiasm...

Last week my marvelous muse ms. Manko celebrated a quarter century on the planet and as usual the festivities lasted most of the week. We got up to some interesting hijinks and japes with a typically mix of sex, drugs, punk, fashion, alcohol, art, pop culture, blood, sweat & public transport, all in all a most excellent time was had!

Seems like a marvelous way to spend your time. Manko messaged me about the tattoo project. I believe that I will be coming to London for that. Great dual protrait with Manko. One might suggest you try a white Andy Warhol type wig to match her hair, but I couldn't say whether that would be funny or just silly. Anyway, good luck with the projects.

Like the tube pic, I wish I had the guts to take photos on the Underground once more!

I dId a photo project on the Underground a coupl'a years ago, taking photos of commuters on their way home from work, and I could have done with a photo like the one above as some kind of "wild card".

Trouble is, I'm terrified nowadays that if I started snapping away on a tube someone would call the police or someting and I'd get shot dead. Sayonara MP...

Glad your week of mayhem went with a scandalous swing anyways, hope it's cooled down a bit (weatherwise) down there!

Thanks for picking up the book! Those complimentary words mean a lot coming from you, and I appreciate the Mckeever/Pope comparisons! The colouring is indeed about half photoshop and half acrylics.
