Ok...this guy is so damn cool. I needed an extra ticket to the sufjan stevens show in phili and he responded to my contact email right away. We chatted it up online and the very next day I was meeting him in Phily for the first time. Funny considering we both live in Brooklyn, but a good show is a good show and worth traveling for.
Of course I was neurotic and crazy about being late at first but then I told myself to shut up because this guy here was being so cool to get me this extra ticket. I had a great time at the show and I got to buy my fellow SG addict a drink. Poison of choice this night: gin and tonic - and he wasn't picky about which gin either. I liked that.
We got to grab a few drinks together on South Street after the show. He's definitely good company. He even bought my friends and I a round of drinks for missing the beginning of the show. I met him for only a few hours and I like him already. I think I even started talking about SGs and how I really like Stormy and he didn't call me out on my SG obsession - you can't get any better than that. Down to earth, funny, interesting, good conversationalist (is that a real word?), good dresser, kind and cool. I can't wait to hang out more!
