once again, a long period between posts.
nothing much has changed in life.

still working, and partying, and playing bass.

Got engaged, saving for our wedding, which should be next summer.

Doing some travelling with work, thus far Ive seen the rockies in Alberta, and now Im typing from my hotel room in Vancouver. I finally got to see the ocean, well one of them at least.
Ill see the other big one on my honeymoon next August.

I guess thats it!

Wow, I havn't updated in a long time.
Nothing really much to say I guess, my life is pretty normal, and pretty mundane. Just the way I like it.
Been working like crazy, managed to bank an extra 300 hours this year thus far.
Enough to finally put a ring on the finger of the love of my life.

So I guess that's news.
Im on the road to the married life, 2.5 kids, and a dog (I have 2 already).

2007 is going to be CRAZY.

Got a promotion! I am now running jobsites and have my own crew. Alot of headache, but I can finally do things the way I think they should be done. We just completed my first project in this new position, and received a perfect score on our final inspection; a first for our company! Bring it on, we're ready! The company is growing, and I am training a second crew, so we can tackle two projects at once!

I put myself back on the bass market, and have jam opportunities coming out my asshole! A few from complete strangers, and alot of people from my past who have picked up their instruments again to come out and see what we can do 5 years after our old band.

Life is awesome! I have nearly enough hours saved with my company to cash in, buy a ring, and finally get around to asking the love of my life to marry me. Should reach my target at the end of February!

2007 you rock, this is gunna be one awesome year!

Well Christmass has come and gone once again.

Lots of family and good friends, not to mention a few old ones that I havn't seen in years.
My parents are separated and still we all got together and got hammered, then I smoked a dube with my mom and pop for the first time in my life. It was a very interesting experience.

I got a new monitor for my comp, a 19" flatscreen. I love it, ive never had a large screen for my comp before, always just the shitty hand-me-downs from the mid 90's.


Overall great xmas, probably the best one yet.

Karma... hrmm.

Well my girlfriend start yapping at me about her beliefs a few weeks ago (which usually always leads us into a fight), but this time she started in about karma. Mostly she related it to our debt situation.
Well I am honestly starting to believe her...

We owe a bit of money (around 10k), accumulated when we bought our house as well as a few bad choices the year before. After our fight a few weeks ago, I buckled down, cut out all my extra expenses out of my budget and started throwing anywhere from 100-200 bucks on my credit per paycheck. Well doesn't soon as I start making a real effort that people start throwing money at us, within 3 days people (mostly family) had given us over 1000 bucks as house warming presents they forgot to give. The creepy thing is that none of these people knew we are in debt.

Now, I have always had a bit of a social anxiety problem. Recently alot of my friends have been finishing up university or college and moving away (like far away to BC). Which really sucks, my circle of friends is getting quite small. So I decided that I need to get over my anxiety problem and make some new friends. Well I am a musician (bassist), so I decided to start there, maybe Ill meet some people jamming. So I put out an add and start auditioning myself. The very same night that I decide to make an effort here, I run into an old friend at the bar, and we get to talking, and he introduces me to the people he hangs with now. Then I get home last night from work, and one of my old best friends had contacted me via myspace. Someone I was really close with for a number of years.

So ya karma? Make a real honest effort and things will come back to you?
I don't know, but I am starting to believe.

Excellent artist, my mask was done completely freehand, no stencils required.
Probably have one more sitting with it for polishing.
He will most likely be the artist to do most of my body work.
He is doing some guest spots coming up, a few weeks in Atlanta I believe, followed by australia and japan.

So now I have to wait to get more work done....

Well my half sleeve got finished, I love it.
Its the craziest japanese mask I have seen I think, its huge and bold red!
