Need to say this.

Is it me or was the nineties full of pop culture that tried to make you feel stupid?

I picked up Infinity War (sequel to Infinity Gauntlet)* and the language of it was that psuedo deep stuff that didn't lose me but I was trying to figure out what was being said.

I defy anyone to read this book and watch Ghost in the Shell tell me precisely what is being said and referenced.

Though I think I'm starting to catch up on my comics must reads. 2/3s of the infinity trillogy. Long Halloween. Contract with God. Empowered vol. 7 (so good)

Now I need to track down The Phoenix Saga, Crisis on Infinite Earths, and the jack kirby fourth world omnibuses.

Should I get all 30 years worth of Cerebus?

*Not surprisingly, the reprinted material tacked on at the end didn't seem to have the same scan goodness as story itself. Then again, maybe I'm spoiled by pirates.
